Kindred Spirits on the Roof: Kokonotsuboshi Diaries, #4
TL: Mezase, Yuritopia
Translated 04/18/26
Summer has made its way to yuritopia! This marks the last issue of our column for our yuri game about youthful romance, Kindred Spirits on the Roof.
We’ve been using this column to run through all sorts of different scenarios that never made it into the final game, but that’ll finally be coming to a close with this last issue.
Because of that, this issue’s illustration is about this game’s greatest “what-if”: what if the kindred spirits were modern-day Shirojo students?
Our characters in this story each have their own differences in how they view same-sex love or in how they interact with others.
Boundaries between people aren’t things to be erased, but are rather things to be mutually acknowledged. But crossing over those boundaries is an incredibly difficult thing to do.
Sachi and Megumi are ghosts in an homage to the power to pass through boundaries.
Just kidding.
Girls are cute! More girls, more fun, yuri’s the best! That’s what Kindred Spirits on the Roof is really all about.
Sachi and Megumi seem even more lovey-dovey as modern-day Shirojo students, don’t they? It’s very heartwarming to see.
Well then, thank you for these last four months. We’re currently running a popularity poll on Liar-soft’s official website. There are commemorative wallpapers and such available as well, so...
Huh? Our column’s so popular that we’re getting an extra issue? Haha, don’t tease me like that~ W-wait, for real?
So you’ve heard it here folks, we’re entering overtime! See you next time in yuritopia for an encore!
